Tape & Ruler Method
Step 1:
Place transparent tape across the widest part of your natural nail. Press down where the nail meets the skin to make a crease.
Step 2:
Using a pen or marker, mark where the nail meets the skin on both sides
Step 3:
Carefully remove tape and lay it flat against a ruler. Measure the distance between the two marks in millimeters (mm) for greatest accuracy. Repeat steps for each finger on both hands

Pro tips for a perfect fit
Proper sizing leads to better comfort and ensures your nails look like they truly belong on your hands
Tip 1:
Always record measurements in millimeters (mm)
Using millimeters makes it easier to get the precision needed to ensure your press on nails are sized for the perfect fit
Tip 2:
Measure all ten fingers
Don’t assume symmetry, left and right hands often have different measurements.
Measure all ten fingers individually for a perfect fit
Tip 3:
When in doubt, size up
If your measurement falls between two sizes, choose the larger size
You can always file down the sides for a customized fit
Here's what happens when press-ons don't fit properly:
Too large:
Lifts at the edges within days (or hours)
Catches on everything
Looks awkward and unnatural
Falls off prematurely
Too small:
Uncomfortable pressure on your nail bed
Doesn't cover your natural nail properly
Can cause damage if forced
Just feels wrong
a Proper fit Press on:
Lays flush against your natural nail
Lasts 1–3 weeks (sometimes longer)
Looks natural and intentional
Comfortable enough to forget you're wearing them
Sizing FAQ
-
Go with the larger size. You can gently file the sides of a press-on to make it slightly smaller, but you can't make a too small press on bigger.
-
Totally normal. Just measure both hands and note the sizes for each finger.
-
For custom sets, yes. We paint them to your exact sizing. For ready-to-wear sets, they come pre-sized, so mixing isn't an option.
-
Sometimes. If you grow or cut your natural nails, or if your nail beds change, your sizing might shift slightly. It's worth re-measuring if it's been a while.
